Title: Audio/Video Jukebox
Post by: rooter on October 25, 2007, 01:06:23 pm
Is there any jukebox software that does video as well?  I am using my touchscreen as a second monitor to load movies onto my projector (92" hd screen).  I have all my DVDs backed up to a terabyte hard drive on my home network.

I would like the player to work the way normal audio jukebox software does with pictures of the CDs.  I have heard there is software that will grab each DVD's images and information off of Internet Movie Database and categorize them for you automatically.  Anyone know what this is?  Or tried it?

The only catch would be that the movie browser would be on one monitor and the video would play full screen on the other.  I can do this easily with Winamp, but it doesn't work well without using the mouse.

I have the same setup, terabyte drive with all my, erm, backups on it. I use vista home premium, and this software (http://www.mymovies.dk/). Works great.. pulls dvd covers, info, actors, etc.. then lets you sort by them, or create your own 'filters' or categories. ie. I have one that's "cartoons" to make it easier for the kids. Combine that with media center remote, or a Logitech Harmony like I have, and it's awesome.

Hope that helps!
