Wire is going to be used for daisy chain from button quick disconnect  to a joystick quick disconnect.. what gauge and type and does any one have a part number?

It's really a matter of preference, but I know with quick disconnects you can use a very wide variety of gauges and be ok. I like a little bit of a thicker wire for durability and wire management (thicker wire bends and holds its shape better). In my cabinet I used quick disconnects with stranded wire, but if I were to do it over I'd probably use a solid core wire as it's even easier to bend and work with.

You'll be fine as long as you don't use that really skimpy super thin stuff. Don't fret too much, you're not sending a lot of power through these things. Just use something that you feel that you can work well with.

For most non-power wires use 22 gauge or larger stranded wire.

278-1218 or 278-1224 should do nicely.

Make sure the female quick disconnects you crimp on are for the same gauge wire size you use. Stranded or solid also makes a difference.

"Stranded" is more easy to work with in my opinion when crimping wires together.  I think I used 22 gauge with .187 quick disconnects

Where the quick disconnects made for 22 gauge stranded?

I'd recommend 18-22 gauge.  Like has been stated above, make sure youre quick connects are rated for the same gauge.  Too big and the crimp won't hold.
