I need to clear some room in my basement, entertaining any decent offers.
The leg is broken so a plywood frame has been built around the legs. Works 100%.

I can't even get an offer of some pop rocks, $25 and 1 NIKE AIR.
Buehler? Beuhler?

Can you post a picture of the broken leg?

Hell just give him the $25 for the working board.

I forget the amount i offered months ago, but i was basically told to go F myself (in a nice way of course), so.....
sure it may have been 100 or so, maybe lower... but it was an offer. I may have gone higher but it was made clear that it was worth a LOT more than what i would pay.
-
you offered me $80 for it with my gutted Kangaroo cab. I was thinking 150, I guess that's too high. I may just part it out.
-
150 i would've done at the time for sure...i was after the kangaroo cab moreso and may have paid what you wanted for just that!. If you had a price in mind you should respond with that instead of a sarcastic remark. Your response implied there was no interest in negotiating a price so i moved on. Seeing it posted for 350 helped a bit too.
There is not a big difference between 80 and the 150 you "say" you would take to warrant the response i got....especially after seeing it's run on ebay (and klov and craiglsist and RGVAC and here....)etc. etc..

first I don't mean to start a war with anyone, especially someone on a board where I go to for advice/help. let's just say that I'm actively trying to move the game because we're inheriting one of my wife's relatives, so space will be at a premium in my house that's part of the reason I'm selling the game. after my basement is done I'll have room for 1 more game, I would rather have that room free for a game I'll actually play. after picking up the si I realized that it wasn't as fun as I remembered.
I was flooded with responses such as "I'm in college and I only have $40" or "would you be willing to donate it to a disabled vet". So I started using my canned response of "you have a better chance of seeing god, thanks for wasting my time". Unfortunately I didn't think your offer of 80 for the Kangaroo cab and the SI was serious and you got my canned reply.
At this point I think we can lock this thread and I'll just throw it in storage or part it out.

This is why it is always better to post what you want rather than playing the "make an offer" game. Sometime it is good and you will get that one person who makes the outrageous offer that normally you would never get but it is one good to the 50,000 terrible offers that will come in.
Parting it out will probably get about the same as my offer. Wish we could've negotiated....i am out of money now.
good luck with the house guest...hope it works out better than the one we had for a while. :banghead:

Wow, that is a tool response. Why not just ignore the idiots rather than insult them? It's faster and you don't alienate actual potential buyers like ElGwako. If you don't want an argument then don't start one. What you ended up doing was insulting away ALL of your potential buyers.
