Post by: Marky_1979 on October 22, 2007, 11:51:24 pm
Hi guy have just bought some leaf switches for my arcade machine and having only ever used cherry microswitches I am a bit clueless as to how to put them together. I have the button a plastic bracket with two metal sticks and a nut thing. please see pic. Can you guys help me with putting it together and how to wire up please

Just use 0.187 quick disconnects.  Ground wire to one leaf and signal wire to the other.  Should be easier than wiring a microswitch pushbutton since there are only two contacts and the microswitches generally have 3.

The one that isn't signal.   :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

It doesn't matter - the switch just sends current through when it's closed, either way you connect it or if you alternate around the panel will be fine.
