I know there are several frontends for Linux under X, but what's for SVGALib? I know about AdvanceMenu, but it seems more geared toward arcade monitors.
-
Nothing, eh?
-
mot that I dcould find, does xmame run outside of XFree?
Edit: Doh, don't drink and type:)

AdvanceMENU runs just fine w/vga signals. In fact it is completely dependent on the underlying SVGAlib configuration (or SDL in newer revisions) I ran it on a vga monitor for quite some time it works great.

It's functional, but not very pretty. I wish I was a programmer, I'd port ArcadeOS to Linux.

I don't think it exists. Other than arcademenu.
I plan on making a GL version sometime in the future.

I think you mean 'AdvanceMenu.'
Perhaps I'll give X a shot. How much more overhead could it give the system? :(

If you run a light windows managet like windowmaker or afterstep not much. kde and gnome will slow you down.

It's been a few versions since I tested it in linux... and I haven't played with it in ages... Not even sure if my boss still hosting the files...
