Title: doscab instant reboot
Post by: tikbalang on October 21, 2007, 10:29:57 am
i am using a onboard via ac97 sound with sbpro emulation that works very well with dmame and other dos games. when i start doscab the pc reboots immediately, not even writing anything to the logfile. is there any chance of troubleshooting this?

whats your debuglevel set to? (in jukebox.ini)

if still set to 1, set it to 5, see if that helps at all with the log file.

other than that?  ???

i've tried 1 to 5 and it creates a 0-byte logfile.

Can you post your autoexec.bat and config.sys?  And do you know which VIA chipset you have?

South Bridge: VIA VT82C686B
Audio Controller Type:   VIA 686A/686B/8231

dmame/pp - ok with sbpro emulation
