Title: Need help in MaLa scrolling past Videos
Post by: theflyjar on October 18, 2007, 09:01:49 am
Hello all,

New to these forums. I just got my Mame cabinet underway. I'll post some pictures when I get my digital camera back from the lady. Anyway, I've been using MaLa wiki and other posts to figure out with the program, and so far so good. However, I have a problem now with videos. I'm using "Zebra Layout" that was posted on these forums a bit ago, and when I add the video's for the video snap, I can't scroll past the video. I have to double click the screen and then I can scroll past them. I need to know how I can seemlessly scroll past videos without having to do this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I do not use videos in MALA so I can not help, but I would recommend stating which version of MALA you are using.

Also, welcome to BYOAC!

Try copying your set-up to another PC to see if you have the same issue.

Normally weird results with Video seems to be that you are not using the right Codec (xvid) or another conflicting codec as well like Divx..

Thanks, Loadman for the suggestion. I went into my add/remove programs and removed all DivX related stuff and installed the vidx and like butter it worked!  ;D
