Title: 2006 Brass BYOAC Tokens Available - only 3000 more made

edit 11/16/07 - OK, I put Brass 2006 Tokens up for ordering on the site.  Only 3000 are arriving so if you want them I'd advise ordering ASAP.  They will be here in about two weeks.

Please post here if you will buy 2006 BYOAC tokens, and how many (100@$26.99, 200@$46.99, 500@$112.99) when I order them this week.  I need to know how many to get. 

This is not binding, but if too many people back out I'm hosed so please don't chime in if you are less than 80% certain you will buy some.

Does anyone know if these will work with a UK coin mechanism? or can the mech be adjusted somehow - I have yet to buy this for my cab.

I assume the tokens are quarter size and will not be compatible  :dunno

These are slightly larger than a US quarter. You can modify your mech, fairly easily. Here's some good links from Santoro's site:

I just modified one of my mechs to work with quarters and these tokens - took about 20 minutes...

I don't know the answer to the question, but the tokens are .984" (25mm.)  How does that compare to the size of UK coins?

The UK 10 pence coin is 24.5mm x 1.78mm, which is the closest to the US quarter.

I'll have a look into Santoro's site and see what's involved.

The 2006 and MAME tokens arrived today.  Any orders that are not waiting for 2007 tokens will ship Monday or Tuesday.

2007 tokens will probably be here by Friday if history is any indication.  New tokens usually lag re-mints by about four business days.

Just got a refund for combined shipping for the 2007 and 2006 tokens... the website made it necessary to pay for them separately, but he said he'd refund some shipping cost if we ordered both.  I totally forgot about that but here is my refund.

I would like to get 25/25 to 100/100.  I am new to the form so I am thinking that they would be all sold.  If not count me in for what ever I can get up to 100/100.

AFAIK, the smaller token quantities are not usually available until the end of the sale.  They are sold in larger lots to ensure that Santoro can cover his costs and sell all the tokens he had made.  AFAIK That's why the 2007 tokens are being sold in 500 and 200-coin lots and not 50 or 25 and why the fewest # of the 2006 token re-run are being sold in lots of 100 and up

If it helps at all, its very close to the size of an Australian and New Zealand 10c coin, in fact a coin mech I have which is designed for 25mm tokens will accept Aussie 10c coins and US Quarters.
