Title: Standard or Good Viewing Angles?
Post by: Jack Burton on October 16, 2007, 12:28:56 pm
I've decided to build my own cab finally, and I'm looking to make a very simple little sit down cabinet for playing fighting games.

I'm going to be using a 19" PC Data monitor.

From what I've seen on other peoples cabinets, a 45 degree inclination seems to work well.  Is there any particular reason you guys picked your specific viewing angle?

i mounted my monitor at an angle that runs parallel with the front of the marquee, and it works out great.

I tried a 45' angle for while and it was too much,  now I'm a little off 90', i may want to go a little more, the thing i found after staring at a 27 inch TV is that I like the monitor a little further back from the cp as not be overwhelmed by the screen
