First impression, I see her turning clockwise, but I can switch it back and forth.
Just focus on something else on the screen, and then watch her again, and she'll change direction.

I can't get her to go counter clockwise...are you sure this isn't a trick? (no way am I right-brained) Then again I can't keep my eyes off her. Is there a way to turn on a light in that room?
Also wouldn't it depend if you are above or below her as to what 'clockwise' means?

I've seen this before and was able to refocus to the point where I saw her change directions. Today I can only see her going clockwise.

When I first looked she was going counter clockwise...then after a minute of really staring I could get her to go clockwise in my head...but now I can't get her to go back!
Hehehe...the brain is a funky thing.
EDIT: Ah! I have now trained my mind where I can switch directions instantly...and even can see her going left then right then left then right and not turning around.

That is pretty damn neat! It must be cold where that girl is at though... ;) ;)

It doesn't seem like I can control it. When I first saw it, she was spinning left, the I blinked and she was spinning right.
So I checked it out in an animator and she spins right. Looked at the site and it was left. Back to the animator and it was right. Double checked by downloading both "modes" twice.
Is there a way to turn on a light in that room?
I think that's part of the illusion. With shadows on the body, the illusion probably wouldn't work.

Man, this thing is really messing with me. I couldn't get it to do anything but clockwise for a long time...
I glanced away and back, and it looked like it had switched. Found out that I could easily control it by blocking the view of feet with my hand. When I move my hand back, it continues to spin counterclockwise for a few rotations then goes back to clockwise (without blocking it). Only way I can get it to look like like it's going counterclockwise again is to block the feet/legs.

She started counter-clockwise for me. Had to focus on something else for a bit to get her go the other way around. I can't switch "on the fly" like you though....
Now she is constantly going clockwise for me.....
If it's not cold then it must be something else :P

only clockwise for me. no matter what i do, even if i try the feet covering trick. in fact ive covered the whole body except the very top of her head and even then it definitely only 'goes' clockwise...
edit: just showed a friend online and she can instantly make it turn either way. she found that if she looked at pics, it turns clockwise, if she looks at words it goes anti clockwise which totally makes sense to me. she already has it swinging side to side, in less than a minute of having seen it. none the less, it still only turns clockwise for me!

It changes pretty fast for me when I start reading the text next to it :)

I think it matters what direction you had it going when you first saw it.
I did get it going in both directions but i had it going counter clockwise to start with. Same as the Giants helmet spin. :applaud:

I spent a few minutes trying to make her change direction, but ended up getting distracted trying to figure out the temperature in the room.
