Title: MameWah with FBA (FinalBurn)

In an effort to get better speed on my P3 600Mhz I want to use FBA (FinalBurn Alpha) to run NeoGeo/CPS games. The problem is the when I try to run FBA from the command-line, it goes into Windowed mode. The Docs say that it should go into fullscreen by default.

Any thoughts?

I just tried it and it goes fullscreen and that's without having configured anything. Just the rom path.

I suggest you give Nebula a try. It can also be run from the command line. It exits pressing Shift+Escape. I'm running it on a 400mhz PC. All games run full speed with no frameskip. For some reason FBA crashes alot for me.

I tried Nebula and it works well for the most part. I tried X-Men COTA (CPS2) and the sound does not work. The rom works fine in Mame. Sound in Nebula sound works fine in other games.

I deleted and reinstalled FBA and it worked like it should. I must've changed something during my previous configuration.

It looks like the sound in XMen COTA does in fact work but not in attrack mode (I.E. no Demo Sound). Can I change this? I tried TAB but Dip Settings is not there. Different romset maybe?

While in the game press F2 then go to #7 CONFIGURATION and press A on your keyboard. Then go to #1 SYSTEM and press A again. Go to #4 DEMO SOUND and press A to change it from OFF to ON. Then exit.
