Here's the thread I posted after I saw the show in Mesa, AZ last January.  It's coming back to phoenix in March and I'm planning on seeing it again with my 7 and 9 year-olds.

There's a link to the VGL homepage in that thread, as well.  I can't recommend this show enough.

do me a favour, when you see the show, go ask the guy doing the lighting what the ---fudgesicle--- hes doing in general through the show and specifically why hes got ACL bars in his plot, cos it looks dreadful and massively spoils rather than enhancing the show.
great apart from that though

Why does the crowd laugh so much? They cheer when a new game pops up, but they laugh a lot too. I don't get it.

The show looks and sounds awesome.  :notworthy:

It's the interaction of the music versus what's showing up on the screen usually.  Didn't you chuckle at least a little when the "score" for pong was *PING* ....  *PONG*?  The video doesn't really do it justice.  Also, there are sometimes things going on out of view that are pretty funny.  In the show I was at they had a guy dressed up as solid snake hiding under a cardboard box and a guy in a guard outfit that had a luminescent exclamation point light up over his head.

It really is a very entertaining show, even when they focus on games that suck.  ;)
