Title: Mala : can't set a perfect transparency with photoshop...
Post by: superbigjay on October 09, 2007, 10:42:16 pm
Hello,

I'm working on a custom Mala Layout for my uroMAMEstyx project.

I want to have a mask over the snapshot.

To do this, I duplicate my background and set some area to be a fix color (ex: pink) where I want transparency.

Then, I change the color of the bottom-left pixel.

That works "almost" great.

the problem is that I'm using photoshop to change the color, but some blending options
change partially the color of the surrounding pixels.

Do you know how to disable that blending option such that only the selected pixels change color??

Jay

set feather to 0, and untick "antialiased" from the marquee options menu.  That will probably be just below the file/edit/view/etc menu at the top of the window.
