Title: 3" HighLip TB mounting plate doesn't fit

The title says it all... I ordered the following from DM and just got home to open my package. Everything was great, but as I was checking things out I noticed my zinc mounting plate does not fit around the lip of my HighLip TB - it sits on top the lip. Am I missing something or did I just order the wrong part?

Here's how my order looked when placed...
(1) Highlip 3" trackball (56-0100-11HL) w/ translucent blue TB
(1) TB mount (clear zinc) for above TB

EDIT- FYI, I looked at the mounting kit package and the product # is 55-1102-00 if that helps...

Are you sure you got the highlip model, and not the highball one.  Look the the top of the case:

Left is highlip, right is highball.  Highball lip is level with the wings.

The highball has a wider lip to allow the ball to sit higher, and needs a different mounting plate (55-1104-00).

Also make sure you have the right plate: the highlip plate should have a 3" hole.

Edit: just to make clear, the part numbers you posted should fit.  That's why I'm describing the parts.

I think you're right. My TB has wings and looks like the righthand picture. I'll contact DM.
