hey guys, i recently got a jamma cabinet and bought myself a jpac and arcade vga card . I have a few roms and the Mala frontend , my syetems works good, I have a few questions though:
1.Alot of the roms dont work, whats the easiest way to fix this problem.
2.I changed the various settings in the mame ini file to get the best out of my Arcade VGA card (no hardware stretch etc.), however on one game i find that the resolution is way too small, it think its the 1944 shooter plane game. How can i fix this.
3.I would like to add an SNES emulator like zsnes. Is there a step by stey way to do this so that when im done i could still control everything without a keyboard, just using the jamma 6 buttons., Also what is the best configuration in terms of the display settings .
4.Sometimes the monitor goes out of sync and only one light remains on on the jpac, to fix it i usually jack out the monitor cable from the jpac and jack it back in. Some older games like pac man and galaga comes on but the screen starts flipping like crazy , i hate having to adjust the monitor every time, can this be fixed?
i would appreciate any help i can get..
thanx all

1. Run mame from the command line so that you can see what the error message is. Its just mame and the name of the rom. For example from the C prompt:
Mame pacman
2. Each rom can have their own ini file in a subfolder under Mame called INI. You could have different settings for the game you're having trouble with.
3. ZSNES is very easy to set up with Mala. You might try Uncle T's directions here (top right corner)
