Title: Turning off CTRL+ Keyboard Function With NES EMU?
Post by: urbecrisch on October 06, 2007, 12:48:09 am
I've been searching online for awhile now and can't find the answer so I'm gonna ask the experts (you guys of course).

How do you disable/turn off the CTRL function on your keyboard?  Where in windows XP can I do this?

What's happening is it's messing up my NES 2 player games when using my CP buttons.  I'm using GameExFE with Nestopia.  I want to use the A&B buttons on the top row of my CP layout with NES, however; when I'm playing a game with a friend (Blades of Steel) for instance, and we push the buttons simultaneously, it will cause the desktop to pop up the Save AS: window. (CTRL + S)

I want to use my CP buttons but not sure how to config for NES games.  Any help would be great.  Cheers!

Tried the program but it doesn't work with multiple keystrokes :(

What are some of you out there doing when mapping keys for NES EMU's?

Why not just remap both the emulator and your encoder to something other than control?
