Sorry to rant but I'm getting so tired of people not paying attention to the terms i put in my ebay auctions. I always write my terms in bold underneath the item description one of which is no buyers with less than 10 positive feedback comments. ( they never pay or think it cool to wait a month or more before sending a moneyorder)
I'm selling my playstation 2 and had a bidder with 0 feedbacks so i canceled his bis and blocked him, I then wrote "NO BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 10 POSITIVE FEEDBACK COMMENTS" in great big red letters above the pics just incase anyone didn't see it the first time.
Since then I've had four more zero feedback people. Ebay is really becoming more trouble than its worth. :soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox:
I even had a lady e mail me asking if she could pay sometime next month. If that wasn't bad enough I had some idiot ask if comes with any games. It says "PlayStation 2 system w/ 31 games and more look ! ps 2" in the title not to mention the pics and list of all the games !
I always read everythin before i bid on something, Maybe I'm the only one who does ???

You know you can put a rule in your auction that prevents people under X feedback from bidding?
There are a lot of limits you can specify. It's not idiot-proof, but it does cut down on the stupidity. I just sold 17 items yesterday and only had one idiot.

Does it come with any games? :timebomb:

Maybe you should have put a note in your auction telling people that restriction in the first place. ;D

We all know nobody ever reads anything. It ranges from forum rules and faq's to just about anything that is important for a person to be reading, this is normal.
I guess all you can do is hope that the people you happen to deal with online do have brains in their head, but don't hold your breathe.

Can you tell me the auction number? I'd like to bid on it. I don't have any feedback yet though. That's OK right?

Can someone PM me what he said? I didn't read it.

Do you mean to just write in the description or is there a way to set it up so they cant bid in the first place ? (I wrote it under the description)

I guess this is why people sell playstation boxes for hundreds of dollars to illiterate ebayers.

Under "Additional Requirements" you can add buyer requirements, though I just checked and you can't set positive limits on feedback, only negative ones. But you can require Paypal accounts, which will help out a bit.

I stopped using Ebay all together I use Gbuy now. They have a better pay system unlike paycrap. Plus it goes along with all my other Gmail stuff :applaud:

How about just a photo?
Buried on on my drives, I have a copy of an old eBay auction where someone was selling a brand spanking new Xbox photo in time for the Christmas rush. Some dumb broad actually bid on it. The fact it was a photo was mentioned at least a dozen times throughout the bid, but apparently that fact escaped her.
