It is illegal to sell them, specially the one advertising 10GB's of music in the sale of the item.

I've reported them, suggest you do the same, and report any more that you find

I read through the description of the first one, and I think it is most definitely illegal.  There are legitimate ways of acquiring and selling the ROMs, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.  Especially since he says that the system has multiple versions of the same games, and some of them don't work.  This definitely points to someone simply including a dump of ROMs from Usenet or Torrent or something.

Please don't link to illegal ebay auctions - just report them to ebay  :)

They are saying it's illegal to SELL it.  It is also against the wishes of the MAME developers and forbidden by their terms of use for their software.  It's about watching out for the type of behavior that raises eyebrows and ruffles feathers of people who could make this hobby much more difficult to enjoy.  Selling systems with MAME and ROMs installed on them is a quick way to show the original copyright holders of the game systems being emulated that people are copying their product and making money off of it.  With many of the games it is unclear whether or not the original developers would care about this behavior, but they are much more likely to care when people are profiting from their work than when people are occasionally using copies that they got free somewhere to enjoy an old game that is now hard to find.

It may be worth thinking about the whole situation before deciding to call people tools in the future.

Oh, maybe it was, i thought everybody got the memo from that other thread about not signing our post.  But the kind of guy that would sign his post "tool" probably ignores those memo's anyway.
