Just got the Act Labs USb guns for Arcade. Using Mame32. Put button 1 as trigger. Calibrated them, When I fire at the screen, it flashes and moves the crosshairs to the right spot. But does not register a fire. Any help. Going crazy.
Thanks,
Keith

For mame32 have you set default game options/controller/enable lightgun input and controller/mapping/lightgun device/lightgun?
-
same problem here
regular mame
mame.ini contains:
lightgun_device lightgun
lightgun 1
:(

For some reason Mame32 will not let me highlight "Enable Lightgun Input". Or Duel Light Guns. But in Controller mapping I have lightgun selected for light gun device. Any help with this. Thanls.

I got the gun to register a hit. I don't know how. But now it won't reload with the second button. I have mapped both the trigger and reload button to button 1. It just won't reload. Any more help?

when selecting p1 button
you need to point the gun at the screen and fire,
in options you may also want to check, offscreen reload, or in cmd, -offscreen_reload
also you may wanna check here

Hey keithj202,
I did the following: check the "use the mouse" option in the game's properties. When in game, for Player 1's button 1, press ENTER to change and press ESC to clear any current assignments. Press enter again and pull your trigger (making sure not to move your gun to register any X/Y axes--I pulled the trigger while resting the gun on the glass). If it registers an axis, repeat the above. It should one have a single assignment (I think something like MOUSE B0).
On a simliar subject: If you're using only one Act Labs gun, as I am, I experienced an issue where both the blue and red (P2) crosshairs moved together to the same spot. I figured out how to remedy that issue as well.
Good luck!

nice
i had the same problem, what happens is when you dont shoot on screen it registers as an offscreen shot, or reload
they were a pain to setup to the T
but after about 3 days of config i think i finnally have them all figured out
Model2 was great as it auto picked them up with no config needed
