Title: What's the difference between Mame and Mame Plus?

I've seen a few people here talk about Mame Plus and was wondering what are all the differences between Mame and Mame Plus that would make someone choose one over the other?

And is Mame Plus different than Mame Plus Plus?  Thanks.
