Title: Mala and Project64 - cant exit from game to mala.

I had this issue with znes and fixed it after setting the GUI=1 in the znes config file.

I now have the same problem with project64.

I have mala installed and project64.
I see all nintendo64 games in mala
I can launch game from game list in mala
I can play said game
When i hit the esc key - it kicks me to mala game menu but the little black box saying "starting game" is still up and I cant get out of this without exiting male.


Is there a quick fix?

I have installed the hacked version and followed UncleTs guide to the letter.

I solved this.................. grrrr.

For all who have the same problem.

Mala has an option under "other emus" to use escape hook

I had this checked and it didnt work.  I unchecked it and all seems fine.

Yes make sure the exit hook box is checked to ensure the emulator closes. This was a big problem for me...does the emulator close? If not check this site.

This has a hacked version of project 64 which uses a quick 1 hit escape, a much needed feature for this emulator.

It was checked and It didnt work....... possibly as I was using the hacked version.


The box in now NOT CHECKED and it exits fine.
