My dad left a speaker against my arcade monitor while it was in storage in his shed
The right hand sides colout is a little funky, just a small patch about the size of a cigarette packet.
There is a Degaussing button on the monitor but its not fixing it, How difficult would it be to fix this if its even possible?
Cheers

switch off the power to the cab and wait 24hrs,if its still has the problem you may need to get it manually degaussed

Can that be done yourself with a tool
like this?
eBay Link (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-TV-CRT-Picture-Tube-Degaussing-Coil-Repair-Screen_W0QQitemZ200154001475QQihZ010QQcategoryZ61395QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

thats exactly the tool
-
For sure.
Start with the hand degausser at the center of the screen (3" away), press the on button now move in a growing circular motion toward the outside edges of the screen.
Pull the degausser away from the screen with power on 3~5 feet until it has little/no effect on the screen.
Power off.
Fixed!!
Be careful do not put the coil down so that the pushbutton switch can accidentaly be left on - the coil will overheat and melt, could cause fire.
By the way, for others, this coil is 220 volt, not suitable for North America.
Good Luck

I'm in Ireland BTW, Dont think theres that many Irish members
Just moved machine out from the wall and its all fine now, when I move back, the right hand side go's all messed up, but theres no magnets anywhere??
Freaky >:D

There is a magnet. A rather large one. The planet. You'll need the degaussing wand to get the colors right after moving it.

The degaussing button fixes it once its moved
