Title: EVIL DEAD ARCADE MACHINE
Post by: david656 on September 20, 2007, 04:23:29 pm: has anybody ever tried to make a set of Evil Dead Artwork?

this is a quick try at a Markquee (basicly a cut of one of the game menu's)

any idea's on artwork?

for side art i was thinking Evil Dead :Army Of Darkness poster but ovaled off a bit and printed on vynil vynal vynul huh how the hell you spell vinal !

This cab is based on the Evil Dead: Hail To The King game which i think has a erreyness the others didn't have

its a scan of the writing at the bottom of the PC-CD-ROM cover

anyone got idea's on making it look nice and not extremly dotty

Evil Dead: Hail To The King was quite poor graphics the case says it could be ran on Windows 95 ! i've tried to run it on 98 but it crashes before it loads but i couldn't be bothered to look at why so play it on my XP for the moment

if ANYONE has some good pics from Hail To The King i would love to see them :D :D

Haha! My daughter lost a tooth yesterday and it was funny hearing a little girl who looks like butter wouldnt melt in her mouth say "Oh great now I have to eat bloody ice cream"

Priceless!!! They have a habit of sounding funny when they say the most innocent of things!!!! :laugh2:

i have decided to VECTORISE !! the writing to sharpen it up a bit as the backgrounds to too important as blurry will look good as long as not too blurry. so here is my attemp at the Hail bit

well basicly i don't no how to vectorise properly ! im a 15 year old kid who has Corel Draw ! i spend ages tracing it and eventually got that and it looks a lot better than the blurry original but not brilliant :S

YEH thats my excuse to get red T-Molding, that will look HOT..... what do you mean by accents

i think im going to regret this but im putting it in our 6th form area at my school, the 6th formers are all 16-17 so should know better but you never know.

i have bought a coin mech off of ebay which is lush it has ultra bright LED's on the return buttons which are neon blue and have bought a J-PAC and a arcadeVGA.

I changed the rejects to blue to match my cab as I didnt like the standard yellow ones that it came with, If I was you I would be tempted to change them for red ones. This (http://happcontrols.com/cc/420517xx.htm) is the link that you want.

i have managed to screenshot the necronimicon-exmortis from the intro to Evil Dead 2 and get hold of the fonts used.

'Hail To The King' as stated above was drawn by me :D because the scan from the PC game cover was poor quality, i think it came out well :D

That is the place to go. Go to the movie section/scenes and they have alot of high res images. Plug they have a links section loaded with Evil Dead related links.
