Post by: squizz on May 01, 2003, 12:12:55 pm
Sorry if this was posted --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type--, did look into history but was'nt sure now if it work's fine or not on a WG-D9200 monitor with the arcadevga card ?

also has anyone tried this card with pj64 also ?

 thanks

edit - sorry forgot to place topic into message :(

also wanted to know if daphne now runs fine with a wg-d9200 and an arcadevga video card.....  ( anyone tried these two now ? )

The WG9200 will work fine with the Arcadevga, but it defeats the purpose of the arcadevga at the same time.  One of the things that makes the WG9200 so popular around here is that it accepts a standard VGA signal from ANY videocard like a regular computer monitor.  So you CAN use an arcadevga, but don't go out of your way for it.

No, it does not defeat the purpose.  The D9200 supports 15, 25, and 31Khz signals--wouldn't it defeat the purpose of the monitor by using only a 31Khz card?  Remember, Andy's card now supports 31Khz AND 15Khz..
