My god was DRAGON WARS the biggest piece of crap movie I've seen in YEARS...that is right YEARS. The acting was laughably bad...the plot was horrible...everything about this movie except for the cool dragon CGI sucked MAJOR ass...
I would have walked out of the theater, but the wife "sorta" liked it...and that is saying something. This is a woman who LOVES all movies and she "sorta" liked this one.

This movie made "THE CORE" look like a work of pure genius.
I can't put to words just how sucktastic this movie is... it's not even worth a NETFLIX RENTAL it's that bad.
Trust me...save yourself. Don't go see this crapfest... I want to sue to get my 2 hours back damnit.

I saw the commercial a couple weeks ago, and thought it was one of those cheesy movies made for Sci-Fi channel. Even the trailer didn't look theatrical quality.

Never heard that term before, nice. But yeah, those are parts that jump to my mind, too. Almost redeems the whole movie right there, even with the overdone acting roles.

I'd have to disagree. I would put it in my top 5 all time worst movies of the past 20 years, along with one of my favorite ones to MST3K, Atomic Train, but the worst one would have to be Tunnel which just goes off the charts as a bad movie.
One of my favorite scenes in Tunnel is where the star explains C4 is an impact explosive, then shoots the C4 to detonate it. Of course the ending is also great because it makes absolutely no sense, the main bad guy randomly gets electrocuted, and by random I mean there is no explanation as to how it happened, he just starts shaking with sparks flying and falls dead. My theory is he was actually a robot and his warranty just expired, so he short circuited. My friends theory is Daniel Baldwin (the director and star of the movie) was actually a sith lord and electrocuted him through the force.

Mr. Holland's Opus. For almost a decade it was the only movie I ever walked out of in disgust. That was until I saw (about 2/3 of) the pretentious piece of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- Closer, with Julia Roberts, Clive Owen, Alfie and Natalie Portman. Man, that was weird. My wife was SOOO excited to see Closer. I think we saw it the day it opened. We watched the movie in silence . . . neither of us had said a word about it, but it was just so horrible and the vibe was there. I leaned over and said, "Should we go?" And she didn't even hesitate. She was like, "Yeah . . . this is awful." Neither of us are like that either. We'll sit through just about anything. We'll talk about what a piece of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- any given movie is, but we don't walk out of movies. Mr. Holland's Opus happened before I had met her.
So there are those two. I'm sure that there are movies I'd like less than Closer, but I would probably not be caught in a movie theater watching them in the first place.

The Transporter is an acquired taste. ;D Personally, the Transporter movies are two of my favorites.
I've never actaully walked out of a movie, but I almost walked out on two - just couldn't bring myself to actually give up the money I spent and felt obligated to finish it. They were "Scary Movie", and "Matrix:Revolutions".

Huh? Both of those were pretty good! Are you talking about "Darkman" with Liam Neeson?
How about "Punch Drunk Love" and "Mystic River"? Those were awful!

Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. It was so bad I couldn't even bring myself to leave - I was in shock.

"The Man With One Red Shoe" - I walked out of that movie. The only one I've ever walked out of. Ugh. That was back before Tom Hanks was "Big"...{ba-dum-bum}.
The NEXT day I went and saw "Back To The Future"...
...talk about two ends of the scale.
I went to see the second "Highlander" with SUCH high hopes and DIDN'T walk out. However, looking back now, I wish I had.

I got my hopes up with "Reign of Fire". That was a painful modern weapons against dragons let down.
Now I’m just going to wait for them to make "The Doomfarers of Coramonde" movie.

I actually enjoyed Closer, Mystic River, Punch Drunk Love, and the Man with One Red Shoe (a loose remake of a CLASSIC french movie - The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe). They're not in my top 10, let alone top 50, but I enjoyed them. I also enjoyed the much maligned 'Lost in Translation', so judge at will.
I do agree that the second Highlander (and anything other than the original movie that was named Highlander in any way) was a MAJOR letdown; and most of the other movies mentioned here were real stinkers.

No kidding, Punch Drunk Love was weird and at times irritating, but by no means terrible. The Man with One Red Shoe used to be shown all the time on cable TV. I would usually stop and watch it if I was channel surfing.
The movie that I once loved and can't watch now, is Wizards. The music is so freakishly bad and the story is so poorly told that neither my wife or I could finish watching it, even though I really like the overall look of the animation.

This is an odd choice for the worst ever. You are in the minority I suspect. I thought it was an above average movie and I liked it. And checking Rotten Tomatoes (72% approval) and IMDB.com (7.2 out of 10), most people agree with that assessment - above average to good movie.

I was doing a google search for worst movies ever - got a link to a couple of wiki pages. One of the links led to a 'box office bombs' page. On that wiki page is info about a movie called Zyzzyx Road starring Katherine Heigl and Tom Sizemore. It pulled in a grand total of $30! Not $30 million, only $30.

I'm sure many do not agree but I turned off Talladega Nights. It was one of the WORST movies I have ever seen. I couldn't take any more. I RARELY turn off movies at home because usually if they are that bad, they are usually funny because they are so bad. This one, I couldn't get past about 20 minutes. It seems like EVERYONE else likes this movie. Maybe you have to like Asscar or something.
One movie as an example of being so bad it is funny is one from my childhood called No retreat, no surrender. I think it is one of Jean-Claude Van Damme's first movies. VERY stupid and the acting is so bad, it is actually funny. I watched it with my son not too long ago and he laughed his ass off.

Wow, I can't even find this movie on ebay --that is a first. Note: if anyone happens for some odd and unknown reason to have a copy, I would love to get it off of you for a viewing.

Notice how bad ass the cover makes it look? Well I rented it mainly based on the fact that I had watched Equilibrium, which also had a cool cover that was reminiscent of The Matrix (Equilibrium was a cool movie by the way). Anyways, the dude on the cover is not in the movie. The star is a balding, pudgy dude who aparently thinks he is bad ass because he has a yellow belt in Karate. It is just bad. I turned it off after about half an hour - and I only kept it on that long because I kept lying to myself that this was just some kind of "in joke" and would get better. I've filmed better stuff when I was a little kid with a camcorder...seriously.

Eh. It was depressing as hell. They spent the first 75 minutes on "crap on the little guy trying to do something great" followed by about 5 minutes of him succeeding and then absolutely no affirmation of it from anyone. That's just not balanced enough to be much more than a French social commentary.

I recommend you go rent The World's Fastest Indian. Its starts with the similar "crap on the little guy trying to do something great", but has a great ending and is a true story (the dvd contains the original documentary on the guy).

Saw the latest Harry Potter on the IMAX with 20 minutes of 3D thrown in... pretty good movie, the 3D fight sequence was amazing.

I just got a movie that I haven't watched yet, but I'm sure its going to be horrible. Its called Doomed, and according to the back of the box the storyline is there is a new reality show where 5 teams are placed on an island and the first to reach the other side wins $50 million dollars. The problem is there are zombie death squads on the island hunting the contestants. It should be some horrible B-movie fun :)
The only reason I've even heard of this movie is because my uncle is in it, which should make it even more fun to watch.

I just watched Doomed and it was horrible, but not worst movie ever horrible. One thing thats pretty funny is that my Uncle used an alias in the movie. I guess he knew how bad the movie was going to be and decided to try and distance himself from it early on, which is really saying something because he's done some really bad B-movies in the past. I'll have to ask him about it then next time I see him.

Thanks for that. It was a good movie and was just as you said. Anthony Hopkins was fantastic.
