I finally finished the last volume of Arcade Ambience, which is an early nineties experience this time. It's mostly 1988-1991 games with Mortal Kombat thrown in (man Street Fighter 2 is annoying, but that's how I remember it hehe). Probably the best new feature of this version is the addition of pinballs.
I haven't even had a chance to update my website, but I thought I'd throw some download links up here for the BYOAC folks as a sneak preview.

(Go to 'downloads' to grab the file)
I will post the list of games as well as additional download links as soon as I get that done.
Enjoy!
EDIT: Games list:
Altered Beast, Arkanoid, Cyberball 2072, Galaga, Golden Axe, Klax, Neo Geo (Magician Lord, Baseball Stars Professional, Nam 1975), Mortal Kombat, Ms. Pacman, Raiden, Roadblasters, Street Fighter 2, Smash TV, Tetris, TMNT, Toobin, & Xybots.
Pins: Black Knight 2000, Elvira, Fun House, Whirlwind.

YOU ROCK! :notworthy:

Now to figure out what the heck happened to my sound card so I can check them out!
-
Can't wait to hear it.
-
Downloading it now. 82mb! :dizzy:
By the way, any chance you will create a complete one that has sounds from all era's? Although I would like to see one made for even more current games after 1992. Would be cool to hear voice and sound dialogs of the arcade games with voices. Including with the pinball machines. Heck you should even throw in the sound of a change maker machine.

OMG!!!
You are amazing man.. Thank you for all the hard work

LOL The Dhalsim stage Elephants in the beginning

Let me know if you want me to host a mirror :)

Sweet... this is great ahofle. Got it pumping through 6-channel in-wall speakers and the games are all around the place. ;)
Hmmm.. from 81 to 83 to 86 to 92. Seems 89 is missing from the sequence, though what great games came out of that era that would warrant inclusion on your next release? :) Still, might be nice for completion's sake...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Although you did forget to add the Dance Dance Revolution sounds, since in the arcades I've been to recently(Delaware & New Jersey) thats the only game that gets played.

lawl. I didn't mean games from 2007 since I know there isn't any. Although, there was a swarm of games with voice announcements and voice grunts and such that came out after 1992. I'd like those to be added to a final arcade ambience sound file including all the sounds from previous arcade ambience mp3s. I didn't get to listen through the whole 92 sound file but from what I did hear, I never heard FATALITY or FINISH HIM!. Also in some parts there seems to be sounds of joystick movements which I think is cool but then at some points I hear what sounds like someone pounding a joystick. That part I didn't really like so much giving the volume level given to that sound byte. It was a little too loud and sounded like the same pounding sound byte which for me kind of killed the mood..

Sounds like you have a nice little project to do. Post your file when you get it done please as I am sure people will be anxious to hear it.
Good job Ahofle! Another great addition!

Those are definitely in there. You have to listen closely though, as the kicks from MK are much louder.

That's actually the pinball flippers. Those really are loud.
-
hey check out your post count ahofle... 1994 !! :)
it was actually 1992 at one point in this thread LOL
-
Somebody gets a pinball extra credit at about 10 mins 37 or so :)
I didn't hear Addams Family in there (yet) - did it get a run? In 1992, the arcade where I went to uni was basically Raiden, SFII and TAF pin noises all day every day.
Good times. Crap grades. Oh well, I've got a job anyway.
Cheers on the noises, I really appreciate the effort you've gone to !

Now to have it done in Dolby 5.1
(i'm not volunteering, i haven't researched dolby recording at all)
