Title: EMS lightguns

yeah so I got 2, trying to set up one. I get the calibration done pretty well its not perfect but the little laser is close to the target MAME displays. Problem is, one time I some how got the C button to fire a bullet but when I tried to make it so D fire I cant shoot anymore.

Any gurus out there wanna help me? Also, my monitor is only 27" diagonally and I have to stand almost against the wall (6 feet away) to get an accurate  reading, kinda sucks, the more I mess with this pengo cab the more I wanna get rid of it and MAME the MKII machine.

I don't know about your button problem, but have you tried mounting the strips horizontally on top and bottom?  Can give you an extra foot or so.
