Title: Add a link to "View All New Topics/Recent Post"

I love the board but its missing one of my favorite forum options. A way to view all the new post of the day in each board, without visiting each section.

Is there a way to see just the topics that have changed since your last visit?

i use the simple machines forum skin and when i log in i get a list of all the forums , the little logo next to the forum name is blue if there are new posts , click on the logo and you go to a list of the new posts in that forum.
does that make sense?

Ah yes ok this is better, but what I miss is a single list of all topics from all forums that have changed/added since my last visit.  Currently I have to click on all the individual forums one by one (and there's a fair few!).  The current "recent posts" page is almost there, but you still have to scroll through loads of actual post-text that you might not be interested in to find the posts/topics you ARE interested in.

PHPBB forum software has this functionality built in, there is a link you can click called "View posts since last visit" which brings a list back like this, ordered by date/time of last post: -

FORUM        TOPIC        AUTHOR        REPLIES      VIEWS       LAST POST
Main           blah...           jimbo              3             30            1:48pm by jimbo
Software     blah...           bob                0             14            1:43pm by bob
Reviews      blah...           dave               43           123          1:10pm by adam

This is a way cool convenient and time-saving page where you can see all the latest topics (from all forums) in one place, without having to open new windows/tabs for each forum. You simply click once for each topic you want to read.

So is this already possible (in which case I'm missing something)?  Or can it be added?  I know php/mysql so could write a script if its needed/wanted!

at the top of the page i log on to, next to my avatar it says view unread posts since last visit , or words to that effect, i think it is particular to the skin i use  , but im not sure

Aah you found it!!! :)  Thanks, just what I was looking for... can't believe I missed it!
