...as the title suggest, i'm looking for some decent pictures of the following characters; Mai, Athena, Angel, Kula, Mary, Yuri, and Hinako
i had a quick look on www.gamegen.com - but is it just me or is that site slow as hell for 56k users?!?
they didn't really have anything i could use...looking for medium res pictures (gonna vectorise them in illustrator, then paint them onto the side of the cab (cheaper that getting something printed, and i love painting, kill 2 birds with 1 stone))
cheers

I think these pictures (which have been posted before) are pretty damned cool, I may use them for one of my panels (Sakura is my favourite):

It's a shame that they are a mixture of portrait and full body shots. I would prefer them all to be full body.
If you do vectorise these or any other images, please can you post the results.
Thanks

Hmm.. doing vector art of SNK artists is gonna be close to impossible, like I'm thinkin a good 6 hours at least a piece on each character. Those artists draw much, much differently than Capcom artists, and although I've seen some cool Alpha artwork done in vector format, Capcom aritsts tend to make really thick outlines on their characters and use pretty plain tones. SNK artists like to use as much color as they can I've noticed, well at least up until Neo Geo broke up and they lost their best artist to Capcom.
I'd say do a search online for "King of Fighters" artwork gallery on like google or something, you'll probably be able to find some good stuff there. There was also a bunch of king of fighters comic books, if you can find pages, you could probably nab some pictures to turn into vector graphics from those.

yeah, i noticed that the SNK characters were much more detailed, which it the total opposite of what I'm looking for...
it's gonna take a while, but i did a few sketches last night, just to get me back into drawing anime/manga style figures again, just need to decide on some cool poses for each character and i'll just hand-draw the whole thing...
i'll post results as i go (may be some time though! ;D )
