Thanks, VG ... all I saw of Blackbeards during my last visit was an outside view speeding by at 4:30am on my way to go fishing,

Next year, I'll make the trip down with the kids.

We stay up in Duck/Corolla area, so it would make a good half-day trip ... although the kids are WAAY too used to freeplay for excursions to "real" arcades to be inexpensive.

Whats with all these clean, brightly lit arcades lately? It's just so wrong!

Well, this one IS tied to a DQ where people DO eat..  duh    :D

I know what you mean tho- all the arcades I remember as a kid looked like the alternative room at the local dance club..

Vintage-

Did you eat at the DQ? If so did you have the BBQ sandwich & did they put your coleslaw...on the sandwich? I ask because they did that to me at that place, I didn't mind it so much cause I'll eat anything. Apparently this is very "normal" for the "South".

If the menu says the coleslaw comes with the sandwich, then it is pretty common that they mean on it from my experience.  I usually ask them to put it on the side.

Just don't see a Slugfest in the wild any more. Did it give out cards? I've never seen one that does. ;D

Neat little place. I hope to go there next summer.

Coleslow ON the sandwich is the ONLY way to have it.   Has to be vinegar slaw tho.  Mayo slaw isn't as good.
