as the title says i know you can adjust the control sensitivity and such but can you bypass the motion control all together.
maybe use only the nunchuck or classic controller to drive the car. i saw it used for like 15 bucks so. just curious.

It only uses the Wii-mote but the game controls horrible. I'd pass on this game if i were you.

Thirded. I owned this game for about 3 hours before returning it when I still owned a Wii. And 2 of those 3 hours didn't involved playing any games.

geeze that sounds bad. oh well. sigh. really wanted a good driving game.

You could get the Gamecube version of NFSC and play it with a GC controller. I haven't played this game on the GC but i have played other NFS games on the GC and they were fine. When i played this game on the Wii with the Wii-mote it was horrible, they really messed up the car sensitivity and controlling the cars while turning on the Wii-mote, but the GC version on a regular controller should be ok.
Excite Truck plays ten times better and is a lot of fun for a while, but the lack of depth really gets boring after a few days. I'd still recommend it though.

You probably won't find this in the Wii library. ExciteTruck, as noted, is fun, but shallow. Most of the racing I did on the Wii was with the GameCube Mario Kart and FZero titles. If you want a *really* good driving game, then get a 360. There are several.

I've been playing through NFS Carbon on the Xbox lately and it's pretty good, though admittedly I'm not a racing game person.

Burnout: Revenge is great and well worth $30 (it's a Platinum title).
