Title: Cheapest Printing Option?
Post by: dndcollect on September 07, 2007, 04:48:49 pm
I am working on my first project and one of the surprises so far is that getting the artwork together as well as finding a way to print decently yet cheaply is more difficult than the wood working.   It might just be me.

I cringe at paying $80 to kinkos to print my stuff. I also gather that its just not possible to print side art, etc from an inkjet. I like the quality of my inkjet, maybe thats because I am a newbee retard, but ignorance is bliss i guess.

Anyway i am looking to print a control panel, bezel, marquee and sideart for a bartop. Anyone know how I can do this cheaply myself?

outside of taking it somewhere to print it wich you said was like 80 dollars not really. you might be able to print your marquee and get ok results. i know a few have done it here. if you printer is pretty nice you may have luck with some photo quality paper.

what i would do first is try emailing mame marquee and explain to them you need a whole setup. marquee control panel sideart. maybe they will give you a discount since you need all of it.

depends on the size really.  marquee and CPO can be printed at home and be passable (and durable if you cover it with plexi) but if you want something professional mamemarquees.com is your best bet

though Ive tried mailing scott like 11 times about my art and I think Im caught in his spam trap
