I picked up an arcade machine that already had the work done. The guy said it worked prior to me picking it up. It has an arcadevga (old one) running into a JPac and optipac. Pretty good deal for 75 bucks. So anyways I decided to toy with it today and couldn't get the damn thing to work. I managed to get the pc running visually with a computer monitor and an old voodoo graphics card but I can't get anything to work with the arcadevga. Only thing I have is a blank screen with whatever color I enhance the most. any ideas?
Thanks

IIRC, The original AVGA requires an Arcade Monitor. Have you tried plugging it into an Arcade Monitor?
-
Yes, thats what its on right now, I used my PC monitor to see if it would work (doesnt)
When I used the voodoo card I was able to get a visual on my pc monitor

Do you have all the proper drivers for the ArcadeVGA?
And UNinstall all other graphics hardware and drivers first.
-
Are you using the proper output?
The VGA standard is for arcade monitors. You need a converter for the DVI to vga.

The original didn't have a DVI connector.
Although, if you are using the 7000 series version then you do have to use the bottom connector I believe. Email Andy at Ultimarc about it. He's taken all the information about it off his website and I may not be remembering correctly.

This is the card that I have

Yeah, that's 7000 series. IIRC, you have to use the bottom connector(blue) first.
