Title: Good arcade to computer conversion instructions recremendations

I am looking to convert a basically empty cabinate to be a computer run powerhouse. Has anyone done this, and where can I get good instructions, either online or a book. Thank you.

Best book reference is John St. Clair's book 'Project Arcade'. Just skip the cabinet construction chapters.

You probably would also like to look at his website (this one). Start with the Wiki (http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Main_Page) or go through the 'Examples' link on the main page or follow through some of the projects in the 'project announcement' board.

Are you talking about home automation here (x10)?

I intend to add the control sw for all my x10 stuff on my cab (since it will be in the living room, I'll have easy access to it),
Doing this is only a matter of mounting the usb receiver inside the cab...
