Title: S-video or Arcade Monitor with Ultimarc Xbox adapter?
Post by: maxstang on September 04, 2007, 01:44:02 am
Hope this is in the right forum.  Haven't posted in a long time, but all these Xbox driving cabinets have got me thinking about building a dedicated driving cabinet.  I'm stumped on what monitor set up to use.  We use the Xbox at home with RF connection (our TV is REALLY old) so I don't know what it looks like in S-video or component.  I have an extra 25" arcade monitor I could use for the cabinet.   I'm wondering which would look better: An S-video or component TV or a Standard Res arcade monitor with an Ultimarc adapter?  Any opinions?  -Malcolm

If you have a free 25" arcade monitor sitting around I'd use that.  The picture should be at least as good as a TV with component or S Video.

I used a standard res arcade monitor with an Ultimarc XBOX to arcade video adapter in my XBOX racing cabinet.  The video is first rate.
