Ok so the volume on this is really low, I've been all threw the test menus and cannot find anything that will allow me to turn it up. Where should I be looking, is there something on the board that I need to turn up?

I have the earlier Y version with the audio board. If my memory is intact I think the original board had a POT for volume control. Don't know if that is true with the T unit tho.
Edit: Just checked a T unit manual. The volume control is connected to the sound board same as the Y version.

so there is a pot on there for me to adjust then? And is that manual online or do you just have one.

There should be one in the cab connected to the sound board.
I got the T version manual under PDF manuals and schematics at http://arcarc.xmission.com/

It's not a deadicated cab, I just bought the board, and didn't know I needed a sound cable.

Um can you possibly give me a pintout. cause I have no idea how to read that manual. I have a pic of the board

This would really help me out.

The pot is connected to pins 2 and 4 of connector P5 on the sound board. The center lug of the pot is connected to pin 2 and one end lug is connected to pin 4. I do not have a pot value as it was not in the docs but I would guess at about 10 Kohms.

You would something more like one of these -

Especially if you want to mount it somewhere else later on.
Either the 5K or 10K should do it.
I know you mentioned your cabinet wasn't dedicated..... but does it have a volume pot wired in on the jamma harness at all?
I ask because my NBA Jam uses a similar setup and since the volume control was already wired into the jamma harness for the speakers all I had to do was make a jumper to go between pins 2 and 4.

Nope it's going in that dynamo street fighter cab that I got yesterday, and I believe that I'm going to have to wire the entire thing up all over again, because it doesn't have alot of stuff, like test and service switches.
