Title: command line mame romlist flag?

Anyone know the flag for getting a list of all roms in the directory instead of a random list in the small gui in the latest version of mame (0118)

Besides: "cd roms; dir"? ;)  How about cmpro's save "have list"?

I don't mame has a flag that does the equivalent; why should it add the feature when there are other ways to the same thing?

Sorry, never noticed a reply to this! Of course you are right in what you are saying, just wondered if it could be done via command line in mame.

how about  dir >allroms.txt
