I have the same setup as you except I have a WG 25" monitor... and I have the same problem. Whites are white, but kinda dim. I haven't been able to figure out why.

The Dreamcast adaptors wich we sell have load resistors on the inputs whereas the standard video amp does not. This is likely to be the problem. You could try adding three 220 ohm resistors. One from each color line to ground, on the input of the amp.

so I take one leg of the 220ohm resistor and put it on the red signal and then connect the other leg of the resistor to a ground.
and same with the green and blue?
or does the resistor go inline only one on each of the R,G,B wire with no gorund becuase there inline?
and these resistor's go to the input RGB signals of the amp before they actually make it to the amp and do not go in after the amp to the monitor correct?

This is how I read it:

Could be wrong, tho ???
