Title: question on parts
Post by: Kangum on September 01, 2007, 02:03:37 pm
i have a midway coin door without a frame in pretty good condition. so i was wondering is it possible to get just the frame part for the coin door without watching ebay for months only to end up buying a whole other door

Possible, yes.

Likely, not so much (but I could be wrong).

Kangum,

I have a Midway coin door frame without the door.  I'd be glad to let you have it.

PM me.

Funny thing is that about 15 minutes after I posted here, I noticed that Grauwulf has a Midway door for sale, where the frame is fine, but the door is somewhat lacking ... sadly I have a Midway door where the frame is good, but the door needs repair , but I need it.

Just goes to show you (along with Rocky's response  :applaud:) that it never hurts to ask.

BTW ... get back to work getting your vinyl cutter working !!

 ;)

How's the new house ?

Don't ya hate that. Back in the early days when I was starting to buy stuff off Ebay that I "thought I might need one day", and "too cheap to pass up" I ended up with a banged up Midway door and no frame. (Always scrutinize the photos in Ebay listings!!!)

anyways, no point to this story as I ended up donating the door at a swap meet.

 ;D
