Maybe I just never played enough GT in the arcade, but I'm having a helluva time trying to play this game.
The game works (I've tried them all, but I've been playing GT Supreme Tournament Edition), but I'm not sure if I need to tweak the Analog Settings or just practice more. On the Analog Settings defaults, a lot of times, I can't seem to hit the ball well. I'll have the driver out and sometimes I'll get a 250+ drive, but a lot of times, I get 120 yd drives. Why is that? What's the trick? Is it consistent back/forward swings? Am I spinning the trackball too fast? Do I need to tweak sensitivity/speed/i-can't-remember-the-other-analog-settings? Sometimes I seem to have it down and, I think I'm pretty consistent in my back/forward motion, but then I'll have like 7 shots in a row go like 30% of the advertised distance. What am I missing?
Thanks for any help.

(I have no real experience to support this, but) I bet that you are getting backspin. Perhaps your sensitivity is too high...

Yup, that sounds about right. What do others do to correct this? I have the 3" Happs Trackball if that matters.

Adjust the mouse sensitivity in MAME for Golden Tee.
