Post by: Hawk Daddy on August 30, 2007, 11:20:15 pm
So i have a monitor from a galaga and it's got a little burn from xevious and I want to knoe if it will work in a cab wired for jamma, because I plan to rewire my new galaga with jamma, and a  switching power supply.  But I want to make sure that it will work.

Sure.  Just get the sync hooked the right way.

Got cha, also I have heard that I could plug the monitor directly into the wall, and I have heard that I need to run it threw and iso transformer.  Which way would be best to go at it?

If you're not sure, run it through and isolation transformer. If you can figure out what kind of monitor it is, then you can find out if it actually requires the transformer or not.
