I am hoping someone out there can tell me if this monitor (link below) would be compatible with the Revenge From Mars P2000 game.

This is a link to a video repair site for the game...

I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give on this. Playing the machine without a screen has just taken the fun out of it. :-\
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Heh, I've got a RFM, cool game, eh? Yeah, not much fun without the monitor.
The problem with a shelf mount is that it probably isn't going to physically fit. You would also have to hack the video cable, but that's not a big deal.
Do you have a non-working monitor now? Might not be a big deal to get it fixed.

I do have a busted monitor now and it looks like the tubes busted from the looks of the black areas on the screen.
With a little help from a friend we should be able to take care of the video cable. You just don't think it will fit, eh?
Any other suggestions?

You can get a new tube if it's truly broken. Can you explain further?
What monitor do you have, the WG or the Ducksan?

The monitor itself is a nothing special standard res 19", so:
You *might* be able to take a run-of-the-mill 19" and swap the tube and chassis (board) over into the original monitor frame. Would probably take a little hackery to mount a different chassis/board to that frame. I've never tried this, but I don't see why it won't work.
When the Wells went out in ours, I fixed it instead of trying to replace it.
Might be worth asking over on the rec.games.pinball newsgroup. I'm sure it's been tried/done by somebody.

I am freaking jealous. I would love to just check out the guts of a Pinball 2000, I am seriously impressed by that design. There's a guy around here that has one, if he ever decides to sell it I'll need to find a way to grab it.
