Title: 2 U360 joysticks - MaLa only sees 1
Post by: ARTIFACT on August 30, 2007, 12:52:36 am
In the joystick options, only 1 joystick shows up in the test/check tab (where you can SEE the joysticks and test)... J2 is grayed out.

oh, and this results in not being able to scroll my lists (< and >) and letter scroll (up and down).

How can I make MaLa SEE BOTH sticks?

Thank you very much.

I think Swindus answers your question here:

aaaahhhh

you know what... i saw this thread and I scrolled thru missing the info part (I thought i twas about missing IDs there)

Got it! thanks.

I switched to using MALA TREE instead anyway..

Trackball to scroll up/down
P1 Start = Select
Exit (dedicated on my cab) = exit tree selection (go to parent)

I guess I can still use J2 up/down to quickly scroll letters

THANKS! :)

That's exactly what I do with my 2nd stick, use it to skip the abc....  And on stick 1, moving left and right goes page up and down.  With this config, I can get to any game super fast.

i loooooove scrolling games with the 3'' happ translucent blue trackball!!!!

its so sooth and you can 'throw' the ball super fast and let it spin, then STOP it instantly on a game :)

it makes a world of difference compared to 'holding' a joystick... less tiring.
