If I need to look somewhere else, please let me know. I've tried searching too.
Anyway, I have a Happ USB trackball that works in Windows XP, works for selecting games in AtomicFE, but when I launch a game, such as one of the Golden Tee golf (trackball version) games, the trackball isn't recognized in the game. What am I missing? I am sure that it is something simply stupid on my part. This is my 4th arcade build, but they are so few and far between that I end up reworking everything, including front ends, and so maybe a previous front end was doing something for me that I need to still set up in AtomicFE....
Any ideas?

It seems a problem of MAME configuration (assuming you are using mame). It could be good if you can tell us wich version are you using.
Anyway, firstly, in mame.ini, check this:
mouse 1
trackball mouse
multimouse 0
If you don't have one option, don't add it. Only verify the values (1,mouse,0)
Try it now.

Latest version of Mame. I will check the .INI tomorrow (I really should have been in bed hours ago)... Thanks...

Doesn't atomic have options to enable mame features such as trackball where it modifies the .ini for you?
Also, did you go into the mame menu, press tab, and setup the controls for using a trackball? Press input for the x direction and move your mouse to the left, same for y direction?

No Atomic does not configure (not yet) emulators for you. Trackball support options you see in Atomic are only for the Front End itself.

I knew that it would be something simple... Mouse 1 is the setting that I needed to change in mame.ini....
Thanks everyone.
