I can't believe I did this, but I left a little drill hole right through the top of the panel next to my spinner!!! :hissy:
Has anyone ever tried to fix fomica. This makes me want to cry and cry.
I filled it in so far with a little putty, but I just can't bring myself to try to paint it yet. :cry:
It was so beautiful before..and now this little pin hole drives me nuts!!

I've been looking around here and I found this stuff called Seamfil.
Saw a couple of people who heard of it, but does this stuff really work where it is difficult to tell? The fact that I have to look down at the flaw all the time, I hope it is at least 80% good.
Kind of expensive if shipped, but can't find anyone around that sells it.

Can't you put some sort of artwork or vinyl around the spinner far enough out for it to cover the hole?

Yeah, some kind of artwork or sticker might be okay.

Yeah, in the end I may go that route. I ordered the stuff to give it a shot, though in the end me guesses it may be my only choice.

Wood filler at any local hardware store should work and it's paintable as well. The thing dries up and becomes very hard. If the hole is deep, you can fill it up most of the way and wait until dry and then apply finish layer. It will prevent slight shrinking that may occur when big amount dries up (we are still talking about wood filler here ;) ) :)
Well, if it's a very tiny hole, then you can just use a small screwdriver to push the stuff in. It might be ok to just do the wole thing at one time.

The main thing is that I am worrying about it matching. I will go with the Seamfil first because I can get it at the hardware store near me by Thursday.
Though I do appreciate the suggestion and I have absorbed them all.

If it's a small hole, try looking for wax pencils. The kind that is used to "fix" scratches in hardwood floors. I've used it quite a bit to fix little chips in our laminate tops. There available in a variety of colors.

You know that is a great idea for the finishing touches. I used those too for the floor, and they do a damn nice job. But with me constantly having contact, I am afraid I will need something sturdier.
You guys have all gave me great ideas though, and all just may not be lost.
