I haven't visited these forums for a very long time, as my arcade project kinda of stopped without a monitor.
But anyways, I would like to know if any of you know about building a Half-Life 2: Survivor machine. I'm not aiming at an exact replica. I would really just like to know were to obtain the boards and controls used in the machine.
I do know that they use a Taito Type X+. I also know they use a 32 inch LCD, which I won't be using as it will be costly.
So if anyone could help me out with some research on how this machine works and were to obtain parts and dimensions would be greatly appreciated.
Google doesn't really have anything except about it being released.

That is a cool looking cabinet, but the problem is it is still really new. You won't be able to buy old pcb's on ebay, just new ones from the manufacturer.
Your best bet is reconstructing it from pictures and running it with either an xbox or pc. If you managed with an xbox, you could have a pretty sweet gaming system reminiscent of the 40 year old virgin's gaming chair, http://www.t3.co.uk/__data/assets/fp_auto_layout_image/643851/varieties/4.jpg .

I was really hoping to get the version that the arcade machine uses as it varies a lot from the normal one.
I also found this http://tinyurl.com/ytk7gd
Another cool feature I found about this is that it has a card scanning feature that you use to save your game. Like a Dave and Busters power card except for holding game data.
Edit: Just found this
