Hi Guys,
Some of you know that I had mentioned that because of my GameRoom magazine affiliation I was invited to show off my home arcade on a new show called OpenHouse NY ( http://www.openhouseny.tv/ ).
First let me get this outta the way--- I plugged the following products/vendors:
1) GameRoom Magazine. I had them video tape copies of the magazine and we talked about it in the segment. My credit on TV will say-- "GameRoom Magazine, Writer", rather than my real job. I thought that would be fun!
2) Project Arcade/Arcade Controls.com. I not only held up the book and tabbed through it...but I talked about how if you want to build a machine like mine you MUST buy this book. I also talked about Arcadecontrols.com quite a bit.
3) Nicecarvings.com. We talked about decorating your game room and I told the host that if you want amazing art carved for you, you have to call Melissa Jones.
4) Coin-Op.TV. I had the DVD prominently displayed.
I obviously can't promised that all of the above won't be cut (or my segment for that matter) but everyone from the show loved how I handled myself and said that I was great on camera and very comfortable.
OK-- details.
The show is to air Labor Day Weekend as follows on Channel 4 LOCAL...not national. I didn't realize this was only NY, not a national show but it will also be up on line at their website for a week after it airs.
The air dates are as follows:
Sept 1st, 6AM
Sept 2nd, 12:30 PM
Sept 7th, 11:30 AM
The shows focus is on buying a home in NY.....and they liked my wife and I so much we were invited to have a show done about our house hunt this fall!.......wheee!!!!
Here are photos from last night (the guy in the green shirt is the host -- George) ....and some photos of my visit to the Stern Show last Friday. I got a personal tour from one of the show regulars-- Richard Christy who I had met at the King of Kong premier last week.
FUN!

No problem on pimping the site/book Saint. I've met a lot of great people and I've received a lot of help here because of your BYOAC creation..........I just hope that they keep that in the segment...but I have a feeling they will.
