Title: AcradeVGA & WG, No picture!!

Just got my ArcadeVGA board and the pre-wired breakout cable, but I'm having no luck.  The PC is booting up and the regular PC monitor is working, but I cannot get it to recognize the arcade monitor.

I have it cabled correctly as far as I can tell, but there is no signal being sent to the arcade monitor (via the VGA port on arcadevga).  If I go into the control panel and tell Windows to extend my desktop, the screen goes blank for a second then comes back with the box unchecked.

Booting with just the arcade monitor does the same thing, no signal as far as I can tell.

HELP!!!!

OK, this gets worse.  After leaving the arcade monitor connected for a few minutes, I hear this POP sound and then the computer shuts off.  And the machine won't restart until I remove the cable going to the monitor.

The model is 25k7197 if that helps.  I'm really stuck here, any help would be really appreciated.

Well, I think I fixed this though I'm not sure it will last.  I remembered that the power cord to the arcade had the ground plug removed, so I added a proper ground wire.  That got rid of the "pop", dead problem.  Then after rebooting with just the arcade monitor attached, I started getting a picture.

The sizing/hold were way off, but they are pretty much dialed in now.

Are you rrunning ONLY the ArcadeVGA card ?

Meaning remove ALL other video drivers etc.

That's about all I know to try on those....... :dunno

There is an on-board ATI x300, but I disabled that when I put in the ArcadeVGA (I know that it is disabled, because the RAM it was allocating has been released).

So far so good, it looks it is working now.  I'm having trouble believing that I fixed it by just connecting the ground, but I'll take it.  Now I have a lot of work to do dialing in this monitor -- the sizing and positioning are giving me trouble.
