Title: Mainstream article about MAME
Post by: RayB on August 17, 2007, 12:50:52 pm
This article (http://technology.sympatico.msn.ca/MAME+fills+a+classic+gaming+void/How-To/ContentPosting_MS.aspx?isfa=1&newsitemid=3fef3e5c-95ab-43c1-ae8e-d1043ef11ba7&feedname=MARC-SALTZMAN&show=False&number=0&showbyline=True&subtitle=&detect=&abc=abc) appears today on the summary page when Canadians log out of Hotmail or other MSN services.

Marc Saltzman is a Toronto area journalist who has been writing about video games and "tech stuff" since the mid to late 90's. This article is about 10 years behind the time, but it IS on a VERY trafficked mainstream website.

"This is when games were simple, a time when we could just fire it up and play -- without needing a 32-page instruction manual or engineering degree" says 42-year-old Michael Beeton, a Boston-based financial advisor and self-professed "old skool gamer."

Wasn't there a discussion on this subject somewhere around here recently?  :laugh2:
