Does anyone know why this diode array exists on the Pacman powerboard, but doesn't on the Ms. Pacman powerboard? I thought that they are essentially the same power and harness scheme for both cabs.

sure

pacman is a male and has "extra parts"
Ms. Pacman is a female and her extra parts are tucked inside

but seriously, your mom or dad should have explained this to you already.

this is a complete shot in the dark, but that bridge rectifier might have something to do with the coin meter circuit...I think regular pac uses an A/C meter, while ms. pac uses a D/C meter
